Russ joined WOMT/WQTC in 1981.  Previously, Russ worked as a Station Manager in Madison, Wisconsin and Two Rivers, Wisconsin.

Russ attended St. Clair Community College in Port Huron, Michigan where he studied business administration and sociology.  In addition, he completed many RAB and WBA workshops.

Russ is very active in the community working with many local groups and organizations on festivals and fundraisers.  He has been awarded numerous prestigious awards from the Kiwanis, Jaycees, and Optimists Clubs.

Russ loves kids and coached youth tackle football for 9 years.  Now he enjoys spending that time with his family of 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren.
