Tim Strews became one of the yougest radio announcers in the business and the youngest to
start a career at WOMT Radio. Tim Started at the ripe young age of 13 years old! He has been with the company for over 25 years. Tim has worked all air-shifts and now holds down the midday 9-2 p
.m. air-shift. Tim is also the Program Director for WOMT-WQTC Radio which he has held for the past 15 years and is also the voice of the Two Rivers Raiders basketball and football teams the
past 20 years broadcast on WQTC 102.3 FM. Tim also signed on with CBS Radio Sports and Westwood One in New York and is a sideline producer for nationally televised Green Bay and Chicago football
games. He has worked with and continues to work with Marv Albert, Boomer Esioson, Matt Milan, Warren Moon, Mike Ditka, John Dockery, Bob Trumpy,
among others. Tim enjoys the job immensely and says it's a thrill and sometimes intimidating to be up close and personal with the players and celebrities. You just never know who is going to stop in the booth next.
Tim also hosts a one-hour sports talk show on WOMT Radio each Monday night at 6:30 during the football season which he also enjoys alot too.
Tim was born and raised here in Manitowoc. Graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School and Brown Institute of Radio and Television in Fort Lauderdale,
Florida. He and his wife Terri have 2 wonderful boys named Nicholas who is 8, and Noah who is 5. Tim says his boys are the best life has to offer. But after them
he and his wife love to travel. Tim enjoys all sports, going to concerts, camping with the family, and antiques.
