Tim Strews has had a very long and exciting radio career that now includes over 36 years at WOMT.  During that time, Tim has enjoyed his involvement with many different aspects of the radio station including his current position of Program Director which he has held for many years.  Tim continues to provide play-by-play for local sports teams and was the voice of the Two Rivers Raiders football and basketball teams for 24 years.  Tim’s previous work experience includes a very exciting job with CBS Radio in New York covering sidelines for the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears games in their respective cities.  Tim has also worked with Marv and Kenny Albert, Boomer Esiason, Warren Moon, Kellen Winslow and many other exciting colleges; he has also had the opportunity to learn invaluable skills from Howie Deneroff, the executive producer of Monday Night Football for CBS Radio.

Tim is a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, and he also graduated from television and radio school in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  Tim enjoys all sports as well as all kinds of music.  He also enjoys the many adventures and travels that he has with his sons.  Tim is very involved with youth sports and he very much enjoys the opportunity to coach his own boys in the Manitowoc Youth Baseball Association, as he has for the past 10 years.  His WOMT Brewers Cosmo team has won back-to-back league championships and are going for their third straight this season.  This is also Tim’s third year coaching the 5th grade Manitowoc Chiefs football team.  Tim believes that both of these youth sports organizations are fantastic assets to the community.

Tim’s biggest joy in life is his two boys Nicholas and Noah. His boys are everything to him and he’s cherishing every moment with them as they continue to grow up way too fast!
