LEE DOUGLAS

Lee Douglas is a radio veteran of over 50 years, and he spent a good portion of that time as a mid-day announcer on WOMT.   Lee is very happy to be a part of  “Lee and Steve in the Morning” and looks forward to starting his listeners' day with a smile. 

 

Lee is known to fans as an expert of 50’s, 60’s and 70’s music, having hosted the popular Sock Hop Show on WOMT for many years. Lee was also a favorite on the DJ circuit, performing at dances and weddings across the state for over twenty years.

         

Some people claim his culinary tastes are bland, but as a self-proclaimed lover of gourmet food, Lee’s favorites include a cheeseburger with fried onions or a sausage and cheese pizza, no vegetables please.
